Senate offices are hanging up on constituents when they call to speak against these bills. When experts testify against these bills in committee, the members leave the room, refusing to even hear what they have to say.
It may feel like there’s nothing you can do, especially if you’re outside of Louisiana. But that’s not true. You can make a difference. It’s clear that the lawmakers of Louisiana are having trouble hearing their citizens, so it’s time to speak through something they understand: their wallets.
